American Indian Film Festival (November 3-11, 2006):
5 nominations: Best Feature, Best Director (Gil Cardinal),
Best Actress (Alex Rice), Best Actor (George Leach), Best Supporting Actor (Darrell Dennis), 2006 American
Indian Film Festival (San
Francisco, USA).
The award-winning production will be shown on Sunday, November 5 at the Lumiere Theatre in the 12:00
Noon program. The Lumiere

American Indian
Motion Picture Awards Show takes place Nov. 11, at 7:30 PM, Palace of Fine Arts,

Enfer DVD: now on sale
Due to popular demand and to the growing online fan
petition, we are happy to announce the DVD release of
Radio Enfer, Season 1 (26 half hours). The general public can now order
online at www.radioenfer.ca. The DVDs
will soon be available in stores – stay tuned for store confirmations.
The award-winning youth series enjoyed
high ratings during its 10-year run on Canada’s French language youth
broadcaster, VrakTV.

2006)

airing on CBC TV on Thursdays: September 7, 14 and 21 at
8:00 PM (Eastern).
The 6-hour mini-series will air in 3 parts. Check
your local listings. The mini-series was a Finalist for Best
Writing at the
New York Film Festivals 2005. Starring award-winning actors, the
mini-series was shot in English and in French. The
French version will air on CBC TV’s French counterpart (Radio-Canada) on
Thursdays as well but on September 7, 14 and 21.

SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS Airing soon on CBC TV (August 16,
2006)
CBC
Television has not yet confirmed the premiere broadcast date
of our two-part mini-series INDIAN SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS.
However, according to the broadcast schedule on
www.cbc.ca, the show will air on September 15 (part 1) and
22 (part 2) at 8:00 PM.

World Festival Premiere at Montreal’s First Peoples’
Festival
(May 25-June 8 and June 21-25, 2006) Part 1 of the mini-series will be shown on May 27 at 4:00 pm in
Kanehsatake at the Aronhiatekha school. Part 2 will be
shown later the same day at 7:30 pm at the same location.

Festival in Edmonton, Alberta on June 7, 2006
The mini-series will be shown in its entirety at the Opening Night
Gala on June 7 at 6:00 pm. Director Gil Cardinal will be in
attendance.
